Mr. Mac wasn’t only my best friend’s father, but “Uncle Denny to me.” His personality lit up a room like no other. I’ll never forget how he taught me the art of syncing the radio broadcast with the television broadcast for Packers games, his quick wit, and great stories. What I’ll remember most is his dedication as a father and the way his eyes lit up when he talked about Doug and Holly—filled with pride and great love for them. He was family to me and I’ll miss him dearly, but am so grateful for the memories he left for us to share and his legacy—my best friend.

Dennis was a wonderful father-in-law to our daughter Holly, and devoted father to Doug. He had a great sense of humor, and loved to tell jokes. Dennis was a great cook and was famous for his biscuits and gravy, among other favorites. He had a big heart and was generous To the needs of others. I know you are with God, Dennis......pain-free, and probably playing cards with Jimmy Hendrix. :) Save me a seat! Love you- Mary
