Actually, Ms. Trimberger gets credit for living an even 100 years. The year 2000 was a leap year, but only years ending in 00 that are divisible by 400 have a leap day (February 29th). In other centuries (i.e. 1700, 1800, 1900, 2100), there is no leap day. Therefore, Ms. Trimberger is given credit for one extra day and lived an even 100 years.
