Obituary for Leon Musser Jr.

Leon B. Musser

Leon (Lee) Musser, formerly of Colorado Springs, passed away August 9, 2017 at the age of 93. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Janet, and three children, Lynn (Tom) Cincotta of Menomonee Falls, WI, Glen (Suzie) Musser of Tucson, AZ, Richard (Donna) Vavra-Musser of Stevensville, MI., nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Lee grew up in Upper Darby, PA and attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, from which he graduated in 1946 as a Cavalry (Armor) officer. After serving our country for nine years, he resigned his commission and headed off to begin a successful career in business. Lee retired in 1983, at which time he and Jan moved to Colorado Springs. There, he enjoyed golf, bridge, and a great deal of skiing. Lee and Jan also traveled extensively throughout the world.

He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
