Obituary for Robert P. Maciejewski

Robert P.  Maciejewski
Born to Eternal Life Tuesday, February 7, 2017, age 87 years. Survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 59 years Florence (nee Mijal), loved and precious daughters Christine (Al Starosta) and Mary Beth. Further survived by sisters-in-law Janet (James) Borowicz and Alice Mijal. Also survived by nieces, Godchildren, other relatives and many good friends. Preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Marie, mother and father-in-law Louis and Mary Mijal, brothers-in-law Jerry Maciejewski, Eugene and Sylvester Mijal. Robert was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the US Postal Service after 35 years. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and entire staff of 3 South at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital-Franklin for the care and compassion given to Robert and the family, and to all doctors and staff involved in his care these past few years. The family would also like to thank family, friends and the staff and members of St. James Church for all the thoughts and prayers in their time of need.

Funeral Mass Tuesday, February 14, 12 Noon at St. James Catholic Church, 7219 S. 27th St., Franklin. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday at the Church from 10 AM until time of Mass.
