Condolences

Condolence From: Linda Kreske
Condolence: Today I was walking my dog and felt drawn to visit some old memories. As I walked towards the Crocus Court apartments I could hear sounds of life, lawn mowers, children laughing and dogs barking. When I reached the top of the hill I see the Kertzman house and stop to listen to memories of the always busy and rarely quiet house. I remember a beautifully funny yet loving family who once lived there. I long to knock on the door to see who lives there know but I don’t. Instead I walk slowly, remembering the good times and hearing “Annie Oakley where’s your hat?” A name given to me by the one and only grizzly old mountain man; a name he got from a friend of mine after not shaving for a few days while camping in Colorado. Jack was a kind and gentle man with a quick mischievous wit and a sense of humor that I will never forget. Happy camping Jack!

Condolence: I will be forever grateful that I had such a wise, funny, kind, and gentle father. Dad believed in making the world a better place; he truly structured his life upon this belief. Dad's brain may have grown foggy, but his heart, humor, and spirit shone on until the very end. Jack touched so many lives. We love and miss you, Dad! You will live on in all that is good in this world and the next.

Condolence From: KELLY PAUL
Condolence: Cathy and family,
My deepest condolences to your family in the loss of Jack. He was such a sweetheart. I enjoyed cutting his hair at Elizabeth Residence...he always held my hand and walked with me to the salon, chatting with me. He was such a joy, even with Alzheimer's, you could tell he was a great man and was very loved. I will miss seeing his smiling face.
