Obituary for Gerald J. "Jerry" Blaski

Gerald J. "Jerry" Blaski
Jerry Blaski loved meeting and talking with people, wherever he went. He could chat with a stranger, and within minutes find they had a relative, neighbor, coworker or school or army pal in common. If you are reading this, and think you may have met him, you probably have.

Survived by his beloved and loving wife of 55 years, Therese, nee Karpfinger, children Catherine (James Liptack), Gerald (Jenny Casillo), Ronald (Tricia Wessel), Christine (Eric Caperton); grandkids Jacob and Max (Hannah) Liptack, Jack, Alexandra and Arabella Blaski, Canyon and Caden Caperton; and great-grandkids Dominic and Calvin.

Preceded in death by parents Clara and Edmund Blaszczynski, siblings Edmund Blaske and Eugenia Clapper, in-laws Maria and Karl Karpfinger, and very many other dear relatives and friends.

Jerry was a 45yr employee of Harnischfeger, Army veteran of Co. K, 8th Inf. Regt., member of American Legion post 299 and VFW Post 10394, and long-time parishioner of St. Mary's, Hales Corners.
