Condolence: We've been lifelong friends of Dick & Glo since college days at CBI. Dick & I pastored a church in Riverton, Wyoming in the summer of 1953. Rode horseback on a ranch each Monday. They were part of our wedding. Neighboring pastors in northern Wisconsin.
Enjoyed visits when they lived in Mequon. We miss both! Praying for Heather & Blakley & families.

Condolence: I know that Richard and Gloria are reunited forever and I smile with the memory. Richard's leadership at Atwater school provided numerous positive influences in my life as a teacher and a parent. Working for him as a teacher taught me many useful concepts about ethical and powerful teaching and parenting strategies. He will be sorely missed.

Condolence: In the early 1960's Dick & Gloria were our Youth Leaders at our church. Their leadership formed the base for a strong Christian life that we have enjoyed ever since. We give our deepest condolences to family and friends. We are happy that Dick is now enjoying his new home in Heaven.

Condolence: Richard Cobb came into my life by accident 20 years ago.
What I found was a man who truly understood the value of people.

Henry David Thoreau said “The language of friendship is not words but meanings. “
I have throughout 20 years of experience, known this man to be nothing short of all it means to be an authentic example of the word Concern.
If you wanted to know what a man’s best friend was really like, then you would want to know Dick Cobb.

He was an anchor of dynamic virtue and realistic balance in my life, and I know when Shakespeare penned these words so many years ago, he was writing about Richard Cobb ……………

“A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.” – William Shakespeare

I for one will miss him with a genuine sense of painful loss, as one who has witnessed a giant passing through one’s life.
He is with the angels now; truly it is our loss and their gain.

Condolence: It was my pleasure to meet Mr. and Mrs. Cobb years ago, and to get updates on them, from Blake and Cindy. We had a lovely visit with 'all 4 Cobbs' at the Japanese steakhouse, watching the chefs prepare the food Teppanyaki. I've also admired his image (displayed at Blake at Cindy's home), of a long path lined by tall trees. Mr. Cobb was 'blessed to be a blessing' to so many people. He's not lost, we know where he is.
For all the family, I sent my heartfelt condolences.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of your family's loss. I remember Mr. Cobb as a very friendly face at school. He was a wonderful leader and I am thankful he was principal as I went through Elementary School. Because of Mr. Cobb and many other teachers at Atwater, my love of education continued for me as I became an Elementary School Counselor. He will be greatly missed.
