Marion May (Weddeking) Geronime, 80, of Milwaukee Wisconsin, born on May 20, 1937 passed peacefully on August 1, 2017. Preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Sinia Weddeking, immigrants from Germany, who resided in Milwaukee, WI.
Marion was a graduate of Custer High School of Milwaukee, class of 1955 and Nursing graduate of Marquette University of Milwaukee, class of 1959. She worked as a Registered Nurse for numerous local hospitals, Nursing Homes and homecare as well being active in political and community events. Marion’s primary passion aside from her family, was being an advocate for all creatures great and small. She was a tireless volunteer for the Wisconsin Humane Society as well as adoring the many pets she adopted and cared for, especially Zelda, who she referred to as Kitty, who lay with her as she passed. She would often express concern that people do not understand the value of animals. Consequently, in lieu of flowers it is requested that donations be made on her behalf to the Wisconsin Humane Society. Http://wihumane.org/
