Obituary for John D. Ziolkowski

Ziolkowski, John

Passed away unexpectedly on June 13th 2017 at the age of 56. Loving son of Esther Ziolkowski. Loving brother of Michael (Yvonne) Ziolkowski, Jim (Kathy) Ziolkowski, Danny (Jane) Ziolkowski, Mary (Andy) Barrett, Joan Ziolkowski, Suzy Petrowsky, Tom (Lisa) Ziolkowski, Judy (Gene) Woyak, and Debbie (Jeff) Elbe. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father “Iggy”, brothers David and Douglas, sister Nancy and nephew Bobby.

John’s heart was pure and kind. He was the guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. A true friend. He had a passion for life that was beyond what most of us experience. He enjoyed all that Wisconsin had to offer: fishing, snowmobiling, the Packers, riding his ATV and so much more. We will miss his rough-around-the-edges attitude, and genuine heart and soul.

Visitation Thursday June 22nd from 11:00AM to 12:00PM with service to follow at Our Lady of Divine Providence Parish-St. Casimir Church. 2600 N. Bremen Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. 7301 W Nash St, Milwaukee, WI 53216. Memorials may be directed to the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin or the American Diabetes Association.
