Condolences

Condolence From: Tami Roman
Condolence: Gram, as I would call her was one of the most important people in my life. Even though I know that not only myself but many were blessed with a miracle by having her with us for 97 wonderful years my heart is broken from losing her. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. She was bright, intelligent, generous and kind. My lovely gram was profoundly deaf and unable to hear from a very early age but that did not stop her from always offering to listen, provide guidence or a shoulder to cry on. She always found the good in everyone as she also had an open heart and the wisdom to forgive all. She insisted on being independent until her last day on this earth and opposed being dependant. She loved her family whether she saw them every day or maybe but once a year. Her eyes lit up when she knew the kids or as she would call them the "babies" would be home next door. She insisted on getting there in time to watch them eat, follow them around or just watch them play. My gosh I could go on forever about her. I hope that I can live up to the selfless, wonderful person that she was. I will continue to pray that she is able to hear the birds sing in the heavens above.
