Obituary for Lucille M Smith

Lucille Mary (Guettel) Smith passed away on Thursday March 16th. Lucille was born in Milwaukee on May 23, 1926. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John (Jack Smith) parents Alma and Alfred Guettel, her brother Warren, and Marvin (Gladys) Guettel. She will be missed by her sons and daughter-in laws Gregory (Kimberly) Smith (Iron Ridge, WI) and Richard (Maureen), and grandson Samuel Smith. (Saratoga Springs, NY) She was extremely proud of Sam and loved to hear of his achievements and political views.

Lucille was tenacious, smart, clever, proud, strong, inspirational, stubborn, patient, giving but most importantly loving and kind.

She saw the good in everyone. She had unbelievable understanding. She was an astonishing woman and there wasn't a person who met her that wasn't touched by her kindness and good spirit.

We want to thank Patty her hairdresser, June her best friend the many Caregivers at both Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls, WI and Clearview Nursing Facility in Juneau, WI. They were of great support, during this difficult time.

Lucille will be missed by many and now joins her beloved Jack and their puppies in the heavens.

Visitation Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Wisconsin Memorial Park-Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield from 10 AM until time of Funeral Service at 12 Noon.
