Obituary for Norbert H. Zentkowski
Zentkowski, Norbert H.
Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 9, 2016. He was 88 years old. He is now reunited with the love of his life Lois, who entered eternal life February 25, 2015. Lois and Norbert were married for 62 years. Norbert is also joining his parents Edmund and Marie Zentkowski. Loving Daddy of Jill Zentkowski. Godfather of Bradd Romant. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Graduated from Pulaski High School, Class of 1946. Served in the U.S. Navy. Retired from Bricklayers Local 8 after 30 years. Worked for Selzer Ornst Co. Was a teacher at MATC where he taught fundamental bricklaying and masonry. He loved fishing up north at the cottage in Crandon for over 65 years, as well as going to the casino and eating crab legs. A huge sports fan, he enjoyed season tickets to the Brewers, tailgating at Lambeau field for the Green Bay Packers, and cheering on the Milwaukee Bucks. He was his daughter’s lucky charm for her bowling leagues, and even went to the state bowling tournament as the team’s mascot.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday, April 17 between 2-5 PM with service at 5 PM. Interment at Wisconsin Memorial Park Monday, April 18 at 10 AM.
Our sincere gratitude to Dr. Golopol for his years of care for our family. Also to Dr. Daniel Heyrman, and Dr. Thomas Mahn for their care and support. Also to Restorative Home Care and The Bridges of Milwaukee for their kind care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association are appreciated.
